What is a Restorative Yoga Class?
Restorative Yoga is a practice that allows a person to return to a natural state of mind and body. In a busy world where we are bombarded with stress in most aspects of our day to day lives, we often fail to find the opportunity and mental space to fully relax and rest.
What are the health benefits?
Restorative Yoga allows the mind to rest and supports the physiological functions of the sympathetic nervous system – such as digestion, breathing, and brain activity. The slow calmness allows the student to release tension in body and find a true sense of calm.
Is it for me?
Yogi or new student, Restorative Yoga is intended to be a quiet, warm, safe space that uses props and support to help reach total calm. Any skill level or person would benefit from relaxation.
